Job Description:
Manages department staffing and scheduling requirements.
Oversees asset management, budget implementation, and expense monitoring, including supplies, service agreements, and staff costs.
Reviews invoices, issues, and purchase orders.
Monitors financial reports, statistics, and other operational information to assist in financial management and planning.
Provides staff training and counseling to implement and maintain hospital policies and quality standards.
Acts as a liaison with Radiologists for operational issues, staffing, exam quality, and other concerns.
Develops, interprets, and implements department policies and procedures, including safety and infection control.
Participates in hospital committees, attending meetings, and preparing reports as needed.
Reviews and coordinates routine daily functions of the department, delegating tasks as needed to ensure completion.
Conducts staff evaluations, interviews, hires, and terminates employees as needed.
Maintains and develops the departmental performance improvement plan, reporting and implementing program changes.
Ensures compliance with all licensing and accrediting bodies, as well as federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Computer skills such as Word, Excel also needed. [Required]

Field of Study:
in Radiology, Health Care Administration or related field
