- Manages department staffing and scheduling requirements.
- Oversees asset management, budget implementation, and expense monitoring, including supplies, service agreements, and staff costs.
- Reviews invoices, issues, and purchase orders.
- Monitors financial reports, statistics, and other operational information to assist in financial management and planning.
- Provides staff training and counseling to implement and maintain hospital policies and quality standards.
- Acts as a liaison with Radiologists for operational issues, staffing, exam quality, and other concerns.
- Develops, interprets, and implements department policies and procedures, including safety and infection control.
- Participates in hospital committees, attending meetings, and preparing reports as needed.
- Reviews and coordinates routine daily functions of the department, delegating tasks as needed to ensure completion.
- Conducts staff evaluations, interviews, hires, and terminates employees as needed.
- Maintains and develops the departmental performance improvement plan, reporting and implementing program changes.
- Ensures compliance with all licensing and accrediting bodies, as well as federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Computer skills such as Word, Excel also needed. [Required]
- Patient care skills to care for Infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations. [Required]
Education:
- Associate [Required]
- Bachelor's [Preferred]
- Master's [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- in Radiology, Health Care Administration or related field
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of leadership experience [Required]
- 7+ years of work experience [Required]

Pay Range:
