Associates of Canton, a Radiology Partners practice, is seeking a Physician
Assistant to join our expanding practice and help grow our service lines at
Southwest General Hospital in the greater Cleveland, OH area
Position
Summary
- Monday-Friday; 8am-5pm EST
- Salary $140K
- Primary role is to be physician
extender/substitute for procedures performed in fluoroscopy
- Lead the assisting staff in the General
Radiology outpatient service-line.
- Perform physical examinations, determine
medical histories, diagnose, and treat illnesses and/or injuries
- Develop and implement patient management
plans and record progress notes
- Perform history and physical examinations
of radiology patients
- Field phone calls from patients,
referring physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals regarding
patients to identify potential areas of concern in the medical management of
the patients
- Educate patients on their medical care
- Primary focus on Fluoroscopy, with
additional procedures including US guided Biopsies, CT guided biopsies, hip
injections, Chest Tubes, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Superficial Biopsies,
Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms, Arthrograms, Abscess Drainage, Thyroid Biopsies

Radiology
Associates of Canton (RAC) was established in 1971 and serves Aultman Hospital
main campus, Aultman Orrville Hospital, Aultman Alliance Community Hospital,
Southwest General Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Foundation Union Hospital sites,
and other locations in Cuyahoga, Stark, Tuscarawas and Wayne Counties. In addition to interpretive and procedural
services, RAC partners with Aultman, Mercy and NEOMED to offer a four-year
ACGME accredited residency training program in diagnostic radiology. We
provide a complete learning experience with dedicated instruction in each
subspecialty of radiology. Physician
owned and operated; they are committed to providing compassionate,
cost-effective, high-quality services. The group consists of 29
sub-specialized radiologists, PA’s, and an RA.
DESIRED
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a
Physician Assistant in the State of Ohio required
- Must be a graduate of a Physician Assistant program that qualifies
the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying
organization recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing
- BLS certification required, ACLS certification desired
- Radiologic Technologist/PA-C would be desirable.
COMPENSATION:
The salary for this position is $140,000.
Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not
limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc.
This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to
