The Sonographer will perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment for prenatal diagnosis. Demonstrating ingenuity and initiative in the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves for prenatal diagnosis. 

A. Education:

• College Diploma of Radiological Procedure required.

Certification/Licensure:

Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Sonography is required.

B. Experience:

• Ability to work with female patients

• Proficiency performing routine procedures utilizing stationary and portable equipment

• Knowledge of sterile techniques used for invasive procedures

• Knowledge of M-Mode, pulse and color Doppler as well as real time techniques

C. Other:

• Professional commitment to maintain and respect patient confidentiality

• Good communication skills and ability to use proper channels of communication
