Swedish Radia Imaging Center is looking for a Sonographer. We are an Outpatient Imaging Center, open Monday – Friday, in Edmonds, Washington. Compensation: Hourly salary range $39.80 to $62.19. The hourly salary is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status. The pay range listed is hourly base pay; this position may be eligible for additional compensation, such as shift differential (applied to all evening and weekend hours), extra shift bonus, and on-call pay. 

Position Hours: Weekdays, 30 - 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts.

Position Summary

• Properly performs imaging to facility and ACR standards
• Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging 
• Appropriately protocols all orders in advance of appointments 
• Properly screens orders prior to exam for any precautions or contraindications
• Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
• Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health, and safety standards
• Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/expertise and requires assistance

Qualifications and Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic US program required  
• Current ARDMS registration required
• Abdomen, OB-Gyn experience required
• Vascular experience preferred
• One year of ultrasound experience preferred
• Current certification in Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR
• Demonstrates a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions
