NDS Wellness has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Ultrasound Technologist that is fluent in General, Vascular, and/or Echo in Novi, MI. Willing to train the right candidate.

Minimum of one year experience in Ultrasound and/or Vascular Studies preferred. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, medical terminology and/or Registry in Vascular Ultrasound. We are looking to add to our team of experienced Ultrasound Technologists. We service a wide variety of medical clients across Michigan. We also perform ultrasound screenings for first responders, we would prefer a candidate that can travel once or twice a month. (Projects usually last between 3 and 5 days.)

Our ultrasound technologists provide crucial preventive services for Fire fighters and police as well as regular physicals and return to duty orders. As an ultrasound technologist with us, you will have a flexible schedule, and one where you can travel.

Staring wage is $35/hr. but will pay more for experienced candidates.

Job Duties:

• Completing Ultrasound screenings at medical clinics.
• Under minimal supervision, performs basic diagnostic ultrasound procedures, as requested by a licensed physician.
• Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly.
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Produces high quality diagnostic sonography as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1-2 years
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Registered Vascular Technician from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• BLS Certification
• Echocardiography certification/training (preferred) 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must have graduated from an ultrasound program.
• Registered in one or more imaging modalities preferred, but candidate has one year from the date of hire to obtain credentials.
• FLUENT in Abdominal and Vascular procedures, willing to cross train into Echocardiography.
• Echocardiography certification/training (preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing (Preferred)

Experience:

• Ultrasound: 1-2 years (Preferred)
• Vascular, small parts, and echo preferred
