Job Summary: The Reg Vascular Ultrasound Technologist primarily specializes in the utilization of cardiovascular ultrasound equipment as necessary, and performs echocardiography and arterial vascular examinations under the direction of a cardiologist. Responsibilities: Conducts a basic history and physical prior to the patient's non-invasive evaluation, to ensure there is a proper indication to perform any examination Enters patient information into the demographic screen on each ultrasound machine and into the reporting software. Accurately bills examinations and completes charge sheets appropriately Performs non-invasive diagnostic vascular examinations in an out-patient set
