The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a full-time clinical microbiologist to join a team of faculty in the clinical diagnostic microbiology laboratory. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience. Candidates must have demonstrated ability in teaching and in scholarly productivity. Minimum requirements are an MD, PhD, or equivalent degree. Clinical pathology residency training or clinical microbiology post-doctoral training is required. Applicants should be board certified or eligible by the American Board of Pathology in Clinical Pathology (preferably with sub-specialty qualification in Medical Microbiology) or by the American Board of Medical Microbiology.
