Job Description

We're looking for a MULTI-MODALITY Technologist to join our extraordinary Team at University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center. This position exists to perform a variety of radiographic procedures under general supervision of departmental supervisor and Radiologist to assist in a diagnosis of disease and/or injury. Performs in either all or one of the following sub-specialties, Computerized Tomography (CT), Mammography, Angiography/Interventional or Ultrasound (Sonography

Located in Largo in the heart of Prince George's County, our new state-of-the-art regional medical center (UM Capital Region Medical Center) will provide improved access to primary and ambulatory care services, and serve as a tertiary care center for critically ill patients. In addition, our new space will allow us to expand our offerings as a community partner to help improve the health status of Prince George's County residents.

Qualifications

  • Education

  • Associate degree, Certificate, or advanced degree in radiologic technology, or modalities of employment, from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

  • Experience

  • Working competency in additional modality
  • No experience required

  • Licensures/Certifications

  • Registered with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Licensed Radiographer - State of MD
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
