Mid-South Maternal Fetal Medicine, P.C. is currently seeking an experienced Perinatal Sonographer.
The position requires a person that can work in a fast-paced environment, perform ultrasound scans using independent judgment and a high degree of precision and skill with the ability to work in a high-stress environment and maintain professionalism and compassion. Knowledge in the application of ultrasound equipment utilizing high frequency sound waves along with color and spectral Doppler ultrasound to assess fetal anatomy, fetal echocardiogram, fetal growth, fetal well-being and maternal and fetal Dopplers is required. Applicant must possess the ability to follow protocols and procedures as directed by the Lead Perinatal Sonographer and ensure quality patient care is provided

Applicant must be a graduate from a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program, which meets the requirements by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with an active OB/GYN RDMS registry (or eligible) and be eligible for Fetal Echocardiogram ARDMS registry if not already registered in fetal echocardiogram with the ARDMS. Two to three years of sonogram experience is preferred but not required.
