Videre Diagnostics is looking for a skilled and compassionate echo/vascular sonographer to join our mobile healthcare team. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, including cardiac and vascular studies. Utilizing your expertise in sonography principles and medical imaging techniques, you will obtain high-quality images for interpretation by physicians. Upholding a commitment to patient safety, you will ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during procedures while maintaining accurate patient records and documenting ultrasound findings.
Effective communication is key in this role, as you will interact with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide reassurance throughout the ultrasound examination process. Collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals, you will discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans. It is essential that as a successful candidate, you stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and practices through continuous education.
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
ARDMS or CCI certification in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular Technology or eligible to sit for an exam
Previous experience in performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations preferred
Strong understanding of sonography principles and medical imaging techniques
Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to patient care plans
Commitment to patient safety and providing high-quality care
Cross training in general and continued education available
