Interventional Technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy.Interventional Technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes. Interventional Technologists perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, and other procedures and acquires and analyzes data needed for diagnosis at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
