The position is based at Sutter Memorial Medical Center (SMMC) in Modesto. The physician will serve as a core leader and partner with the local SMMC and broader Sutter System teams to prepare the hospital to advance from a Primary Stroke Certified Center to Joint Commission Certified Thrombectomy Capable center.  SMMC, with 419 licensed beds and just under 100,000 annual ED visits has a well-established stroke program. The hospital currently treats over 600
