DescriptionJob Summary Monitors patient flow that includes admission, transfers and patients discharged from the department. Collaborates and communicates with the Clinical Coordinators, Nurses and Medical Team to facilitate timely movement of patients through the department. Assists with the flow of patients from triage to the different areas of the ED based on mode of arrival, patient condition and chief complaint. Supports the ED initiatives and goal metrics including turn-around-times for arrival to triage, admit orders to disposition, and overall Length of Stay.   Job Specific
