Summary
Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group- is seeking a 0.8 FTE outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our Port Orchard Medical Center team in Port Orchard, Washington.
This position is outpatient Internal Medicine with no call required. You will have an excellent balance of patients per day and work with a centralized Telehealth Medical Center to support your patients for access 24/7.
Port Orchard Medical Center is comprised of Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Activity, Sports & Exercise Medicine, Eye Care, Neurology, Occupational Health, Orthopedics, ENT, Physical Therapy, Social Work Services, and Speech, Language & Learning Services. Lab, Pharmacy, and Radiology on site. Office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
As a condition of employment, all clinicians and employees are required to verify COVID-19 vaccination status. As part of the pre-boarding process and before starting work, you will be required to verify your vaccination status, and will be provided an opportunity to apply for an accommodation based on a religious or medical reason, if needed.
Compensation and Benefits
The entire salary range for this position is $267,336 to $314,513 and will be prorated based on FTE. Placement of new hires will be in the range of $267,336 to $298,787 based on factors such as education, training or experience.
Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, and disability insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, receive employer contributions to the 401(k) plan, and enroll in our cash balance pension plan. Employees will also receive four weeks of paid vacation leave every year and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and will receive continuing medical education leave and funding.

Port Orchard is the seat of Kitsap County located on Sinclair Inlet, 13 miles due west of West Seattle, and connected to Seattle and Vashon Island via the Washington State Ferries run to Southworth. The city's estimated population is 13,607. This quaint waterfront community boasts a warm and friendly small-town charm with most of the big town amenities. Port Orchard boasts a new boardwalk and public market and is home to numerous marinas, local shops, museums, theater and live performance entertainment, galleries, and dining. It is hard to miss the majestic view of the Olympic Mountains and the pride of military heritage just across the water at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard when in Port Orchard.
