JOB SUMMARY: The Vascular Technologist I (VT I) performs carotid, peripheral arterial and venous duplex, AAA/EVAR, LE arterial bypass, vein mapping, ABIs and segmental pressure examination. The VT I completes other vascular services or office functions as requested and works in conjunction with the senior technologist to learn and perform with limited supervision advanced procedures such as pseudo aneurysm injections, intraoperative scanning, and arteriovenous fistula exams. The VT I retrieves, communicates and presents information in a written, oral or visual fashion.
