The Vascular Technologist is expected to interact with patients and their families in a caring, considerate manner and provide care with the highest regard for the patient's mental, spiritual, and physical well-being. The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the performance of vascular studies to include: Carotid duplex, Aorta duplex, Vein mapping, Venous duplex, Arterial physiology studies, Arterial duplex, Renal/SMA arterial duplex, Arterial By-Pass grafts, Dialysis Access grafts, pre-op dialysis access evaluations, venous insufficiency exams, and ABI's.
