Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time MRI Technologist for the Radiology - MRI Department at Newton Medical Center. Shift is from 8:00am to 8:00pm, 3 days a week, including every other weekend.

Essential Functions:

• Ensures patients physical and psychological comfort
• Ensures availability of medical records, labs and screening sheets for examination
• Explains all procedures in a clear and concise manner without causing unnecessary anxiety
• Monitors patient's physical condition throughout procedure

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be a team player and able to multitask in the hospital/outpatient environment
• Must exemplify professionalism and compassion while ensuring patient safety and the delivery of quality imaging services
• Effective communication skills with physicians, coworkers, supervisors

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of approved NJ radiographic program

License/Certifications:

• NJ state license register technologist certificate (RT) with advanced certificate in MRI (MR) required

Relevant Experience:

• 1-3 years of prior experience preferred
