Patients are from all age groups (usually around 16 years and above) with occasional overflow of general med/surg patients. Our department has amazing teamwork and a very compassionate and caring culture. The floor is very busy which lends itself to developing great relationships with our coworkers and we work together to provide excellent patient care. We are a great starting point for someone interested in a future in Critical Care. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* Six months previous CNA experience preferred.* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English* Basic computer skills* Previous customer service experience preferred* High School diploma or GED required within one year of hire* Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program preferred* State registered CNA license required* BLS from the American Heart Association required* Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Training preferred.
