The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer provides diagnostic ultrasound tests for patients. The diagnostic medical sonographer works with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Clinic Details

• Clinic Schedules are Monday â“ Friday 8-5.
• No nights, weekends, or call!
• Full Time schedule is 4 days a week, 8-9 hrs days
• Part Time schedule is 1-3 days a week, 8-9 hrs days
• 8-12 pt per day (mix of new and follow up patients)
• 9 Paid Holidays
• PTO starts first day!
• Additional pay for Fetal Echo Certification
• Locations in Salt Lake (Millcreek), Draper, Ogden, and Orem

• Perform high quality ultrasound exams and procedure per protocol in a timely manner.
• Prepares patients and exam rooms for procedures and assists physician during invasive procedures such as amniocentesis.
• Maintains proper operation of the ultrasound equipment. Recognizes equipment malfunctions and takes appropriate corrective action.
• Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of ultrasound supplies.
• Able to ensure customer satisfaction by limiting wait times, providing courteous service, and remaining professional.
• Participates in staff development, in-service workshops, professional development activities and meetings.
• Performs other assigned duties as directed.
• Able to maintain a calm and helpful attitude, even under times of stress, and take appropriate and reasonable steps to resolve issues.

• The ideal candidate would have 2 plus years of OB/MFM experience.
• Able to perform Anatomy Scans, Multiples Gestations, Dopplers, BPPs, Amniocentesis
• An individual must possess a current/valid certification in diagnostic ultrasound.
• Maintain or be eligible for certification the American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
