Our Chief of Endocrinology and Nutritional Services will have an active practice with a good range of complex and routine cases, all while providing leadership to our respected division, including four endocrinologists, two advanced practitioners, and eight registered dietitians and certified diabetes nurse educators.  This leadership role creates opportunities to improve system processes and create collaborative initiatives within the organization. The Chief of Endocrinology reports directly to the Chair of Medical Specialties.   The successful candidate will create and foster a culture of equity, diversity, and embody a growth mindset mentality to improve patient experience as well as physician and staff experience.

This American Diabetic Association Accredited division provides comprehensive care which includes continuous glucose monitoring, management of insulin pumps, US guided procedures, prediabetes management and a gestational diabetes program.  The group also partners with a well-established, highly regarded, and accredited multidisciplinary Bariatric Surgery program within Reliant Medical Group.

Position Highlights

• Collegial group practice with a large referral base
• This position is 0.8 FTE clinical and 0.2 FTE administrative
• Provide consultative services in an inpatient setting at Saint Vincent’s Hospital, Worcester
• Our team includes four physicians and two dedicated advanced practitioners, eight registered dietitians, and certified diabetic nurse educators
• Excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems in place that allows you to practice at the top of your license
• State of the art Epic EMR system
• Student and Resident teaching; and Research opportunity available if desired

Required Qualifications:

• BC in Endocrinology
• Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• Active DEA License
