The incumbent performs technical work in support of Diagnostic Radiology under the direction of a Radiologist/physician. This position requires rotation of variable on-call shifts and an expectation to operate in the three areas during these times. Major duties include, but are not limited to: Confers with radiologists to determine requirement of non-standard exams. Performs general radiographic exams and a variety of exams including spine, head and neck studies utilizing highly sophisticated x-ray equipment such as computerized fluoroscopy, pressure injectors, patient monitors, and applies the use of patient immobilizers to achieve diagnostic images.
