Sonographer will perform screening, diagnostic and biopsy procedures in a safe and efficient manner. Ensures proper information is obtained and transmits images for physician diagnosis. Provides the best patient care. Performs breast, pelvic TA/TV, thyroid and abdominal sonograms

Prepares patient for examination

explains procedure in layman terms to relieve anxiety

sets up equipment to administer the proper procedures

obtains images as prescribed for radiologist's interpretation

assists radiologists in sonographic imaged guided procedures

works effectively with role independently and with team members

troubleshoots and manages equipment concerns

observes patients to ensure safety and comfort during exam

maintains cleanliness of work area, equipment and accessories

stocks and cleans examination rooms and work area

performs related duties as required

Job Type: full time and part time available

ARDMS registered in breast (required), minimum 2 years experience
