The Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) is seeking a Neurosurgery APP to join our group at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Practice opportunity details include: 

• Primarily an inpatient position with some clinic responsibilities
• Join a growing Neurosurgery team with 5 Neurosurgeons, 2 Neuro-interventional radiologists, and 4 dedicated Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers
• Schedule is 4 -10 hour shifts with 1 week alternating with 2 – 12 and 2- 10 hour shifts
• Weekend rotation is every 5th weekend
• Coordinate on going patient care including initial consultations, rounding with the surgeons, follow-ups and provide patient/family education
• Must possess excellent clinical skills and be able to function with high level of autonomy
• Experience with neurological conditions preferred

Education Requirements:

Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant

Licensure/Certification Requirements: 

Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
