We are a busy OB/GYN practice seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife or
Nurse Practitioner. We are located in Alpharetta, GA with a satellite location at Northside, Forsyth, Cumming.  

The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications –

• Must be licensed to practice in Georgia
• Must be registered as a nurse in the state of Georgia
  o Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience as a CNM, at least 2 years
  of L&D experience preferred if new graduate.
  o Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN NP experience with valid AANP Certification.
  Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM)/ AANP for NPs
• Fetal Monitoring course within the last 2 years NRP (Must be current before
  applying for hospital credentialing)
• Must meet Hospital Credentialing Requirements as mandated by the Medical
  Staff Offices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Must possess the ability to make decisions and problem solve
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced work
  environment
• Ability to perform accurate history & physical exams
• Responsibilities include –
  - Ensure quality patient care, while demonstrating abilities to work as a team
  alongside the physician, nurse and other clinical staff
  - Obtain history and perform physical examinations to evaluate and coordinate
  patient care at the clinic, in addition, to providing care in labor and delivery
  - Manage and provide women’s health care services across various age groups and perform gynecological exams
  - Provide prenatal and postnatal education, examine the patient during the course of the pregnancy, and assist patients in creating birth plans
  - Accurately interpret electronic fetal heart rate monitor tests
  - Monitor patient postpartum at the hospital and be available for questions or concern
•  For NPs, must obtain Hospital Rounding privileges
• Answering in-house after-hour calls from patients
