Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per-Diem CT Scan Technologist for the Radiology Unit at Overlook Medical Center- Union Campus. Shift varies, including on-call and nights/weekends as needed.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Operate the CT Scanner in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA).
• Accurately interpret CT protocols, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT Scan Equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
• Effectively interact with patients, physicians, family members, and health-care team members.
• Utilize EPIC Radiant and PACTS to schedule and transmit images to the Radiologist for interpretation.

Minimum Education:

• 
  Completion of a 24 Month AMA school of Radiologic Technologist

Licenses/Certifications:

• 
  BLS CPR Certification
• 
  Licensed by the State of New Jersey in Diagnostic Radiology
• 
  Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and CT
• 
  IV Certification preferred

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years full time experience
• Hospital experience preferred but not required
• EPIC experience preferred but not required
