Ultrasound Technologist
Performs clinical assessment and diagnostic sonography examinations. · Performing the ultrasound and ensuring the transducer (probe) is capturing images correctly. · Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify, record and adapt procedures as appropriate to anatomical, pathological, diagnostic information and images. · Explaining the ultrasound procedure to patients to avoid confusion. · Uses independent judgment during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings · Maintaining ultrasound equipment and sterilizing the room in which the procedure takes place. · Evaluating the images for their quality and interpreting what the image captured to the appropriate physician. · Performs all requested s
