The role you will contribute:

The Medical Technologist II is responsible for the development of quality control procedures outlining acceptable guidelines and monitoring. Preforms, evaluates, and accurately records quality control testing on all reportable assays.

The value you will bring to the team:

• Responsible for knowledge of contents of department and instrument manuals and maintenance of all required logs.
• Demonstrates accurate and timely performance, interpretation, and reporting of patient testing.
• Revises policies / procedures when required.
• Verifies and records department temperatures and performs corrective action for out-of-range temperatures.
• Maintains appropriate supply of reagents, QC material and supplies. 
• Evaluates specimens and recognizes interfering substances or inappropriate specimens; initiates recollection process, if indicated.
