Schedule: Weekend Days (Thurs - Sun 9hr shifts) Shift: Days Location: AdventHealth Redmond The role you’ll contribute: Performs all types of radiographic and cat scan procedures on in-patients and outpatients. Maintains competency in radiology and cat scan procedures performed on in-patients, outpatients, as well as emergency and operating room patients. Operates all radiographic diagnostic equipment including c-arm equipment. Performs routine diagnostic and portable exams when needed. Operates all cat scan equipment Transports patients, processes film, and prepares radiographic rooms with supplies and medications as needed. Reviews orders and reviews films for correct identification before submitting for a radiologists interpretation. Assists with clerical duties as needed. Participates in radiology and cat scan QI or Quality Improvement program QualificationsThe expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and EDUCATION REQUIRED: Certification from an accredited school or program in radiologic technology. Successful graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology at a minimum.
