Position Summary

This position is responsible for the daily operation of the Radiologist Reading Room within the Radiology department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: triage inbound calls to the Radiologists, place outbound calls on behalf of the Radiologists, patient study image sharing (inbound and outbound), manage email correspondence and documentation, maintain and update daily On Call lists for Radiologists, facilitate requests for changes to orders received from the Radiologist back to original ordering provider or the scheduling department.

Education

• Associates Degree or equivalent years of related experience or education (Required)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience in office administration role(s), inpatient or radiology scheduling or other related scheduling experience. (Required)
• Medical or Healthcare Terminology. (Preferred)

Special Skills

• Familiar with computer based systems. (Preferred)
• Ability to speak Spanish. (Preferred)
• Medical or healthcare terminology knowledge. (Preferred)
