The role you’ll contribute:

This position contributes to the mission of AdventHealth by being accountable for performance of diagnostic radiology procedures. 

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Check orders for accuracy utilizing Radiology Information System.
• Independently operates all types of radiologic equipment (carm, R&F rooms, Digital rooms, Portables, Cysto room)
• Utilizes proper positioning techniques.
• Utilizes lead shields per policy, for self and patients.
• Meets departmental goal of 5% for repeat rate per month.
• Utilizes 2 identifiers prior to using ionizing radiation on any patient.
• Provides safe environment for patient safety.  Reports any concerns to management.
• Utilizes lead markers on all images captured.
• Accurately charges patients and completed paperwork within a timely manner

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·           High school diploma, technical / college training

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

·           Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist / ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technology; BLS
