Summary:

This position is responsible for management of the Radiology Department's outpatient operations; establish policies, procedures, standards and objectives for diagnostic imaging services. Works directly with Radiologists, the Radiology Director, Nurse Navigators, and Patient Access Manager in order to meet specific and individual requirements for outpatient radiologic operations.

This position is responsible for management of SWLA Imaging, Women's Health Center, and JG Breast Center and the associates assigned to these facilities. Directly manages day to day operations of outpatient imaging operations including staff scheduling/ management, retention, recruitment, education/ compliance, as well as any issues that occur on a daily basis with associates, patients, families, and medical staff. Uses management processes to plan, organize, staff, direct, and evaluate imaging services; uses available resources to meet customer needs. Uses knowledge of interactive management and humanistic values in creating an environment conducive to meeting needs. Supervises contrast supervision and confirms proper lab results to meet compliance for all contrasted examination requests.

Responsibilities: Direct and manage outpatient imaging operations, marketing/strategic planning/business development, customer satisfaction/quality standard management, coordinating and evaluating all aspects of service delivery, implementation and control of resources needed for optimal performance for service delivery, coordination with physicians, clinicians, and other service delivery managers/directors, fiscal responsibility for service delivery unit budget and assets, supervision of contrast protocols and procedures. 

Requirements:

· Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelors of Science in Nursing required

· Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related advanced degree in health-related field preferred

· Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting

· Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership

· Current State Nursing License (RN) required

· Current BLS (American Heart Association) required

· Current ACLS required

· PALS Certification Preferred

· PEARS Certification Preferred
