Details Posted: 03-Mar-23 Location: Houston, Texas Salary: Open Categories: Allied Health Internal Number: 710322900 The position is responsible for a supportive role performing a variety of duties in the care, preparation for and, assistance performing imaging exams in multiple modalities including Interventional Radiology (IR), Neuro-radiology (NR), computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), and Magnetic Resolution Imaging IMRI). To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. GS-06 grade level: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the federal service); experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) and other characteristics to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled, in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience includes:a Knowledge and applications of placements of IV's; Knowledge of basic nursing care duties, skills in performing CPR; Ability to assess patient as well as monitoring vital signs, Knowledge of sterile techniques / maintaining sterile field, and preparing or obtaining information, that will need to be documented for current or future patient care. NOTE: Experience must be fully documented on your resume and must include job title, duties, month and year start/end dates AND hours worked per week. OR Applicants may substitute education for the experience required for the GS-06 level. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successfully completed one half year of graduate education (9 semester hours or equivalent) with a major that included courses directly related to the work of this position.
