This is a PRN Vascular Ultrasound Tech Position located at a Clinic in High Point, NC. Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p

Come join one of the recognized leaders in Vascular Imaging! We are IAC accredited with a dedicated team of highly skilled registered vascular sonographers. You will work with sonographers who collaborate to advance each other’s knowledge and skills to provide exceptional patient care.

A Dedicated Vascular Lab with Services Including:

• Aorta-iliac Artery Duplex
• Carotid Artery Duplex
• Mesenteric Artery Duplex
• Physiological Testing
• Renal Artery Duplex
• Venous Duplex

Exam rooms are equipped with the most advanced vascular ultrasound and physiological equipment available. Customized, advanced reporting software developed for use in our vascular labs.

Major Medical Center and Teaching Facility:

History of participation in carotid artery research with the MESA and CREST studies. In addition, the lab and surgical have  been involved in several past and ongoing retrospective studies of arterial disease. In addition, our vascular department has been recognized for its research on ultrasound-based renal artery disease.

Vascular labs collaborate directly with vascular surgeons.

As a teaching facility, our vascular techs have been involved with advancing the understanding of vascular diseases. Staffed with a team fully committed to offering the highest level of services to our local and surrounding communities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Completion of an Allied Health Training Program in Diagnostic Ultrasound resulting in an Associates degree, completion of a correlative Allied Health Program with successful completion of a postgraduate course in neuro-ultrasound, or Bachelor's degree in a related field. One year clinical ultrasound experience preferred.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Completion of the Registry of Vascular Technologists required or the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 18 months of hire. Current CPR certification required.
