Details Posted: 25-Jan-23 Location: Killeen, Texas Salary: Open Internal Number: 22022916rxv_31_1 The Division of Medical Physics at Baylor Scott and White Health, Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking a full time either MS or PhD therapeutic medical physicist in Radiation Therapy to join our team and to support clinical operations in the Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Temple, Texas. This position will be joining 4 PhD-level physicists and 6 MS-level physicists covering 4 clinics in Central Texas: Temple, Killeen, Waco, and College Station. This position will be primarily a clinical position working full time hybrid remote/on-site at the Temple and Killeen clinics but will be expected to cover other clinics in central Texas if needed. Among the four clinics, there is 5 Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, 2 Varian Varisource, 1 Elekta Flexitron and 5 CT simulators. The successful candidate will be responsible for physics support in the clinic and work with other members of the radiation oncology team to provide highest level of clinical service. Primary responsibility for this position includes, but not limited to.
