Patients are from all age groups (usually around 16 years and above) with occasional overflow of general med/surg patients.  Our department has amazing teamwork and a very compassionate and caring culture. The floor is very busy which lends itself to developing great relationships with our coworkers and we work together to provide excellent patient care. We are a great starting point for someone interested in a future in Critical Care. Individuals on our team must be compassionate, friendly, intelligent with a strong work ethic! This position assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.
