Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology is seeking a full-time Cardiac Clinical Coordinator, for our Altamonte Springs Campus.  In this capacity you would place students at clinical sites.  You would also assist in acquiring new sites for our students.

Responsibilities:

Ø Clinical instruction.

Ø Direction and guidance of clinical instructors.

Ø Secure clinical education affiliations.

Ø Develop and monitor clinical assignments and schedules for students.

Ø Work with Program Dean and faculty to create and conduct clinical educational workshops for clinical instructors to ensure the objectives of the program are being met.

Ø Visit clinical sites routinely to assist and evaluate student progress.

Ø Maintain clinical records of assignments and rotations, attendance and student evaluations.

Ø Attend student orientation.

Ø Perform all clinical conferences at the end of the student semester.

Ø Maintain clinical stipends and make payments to appropriate sites.

Ø Participate and assist in the organization of the annual advisory board meeting.

Ø Work and communicate with the DMS Medical Director

Ø Attend annual Advisory board meeting

Ø Work with Program Dean in all program aspects as deemed necessary.

Qualifications:

The Echo Clinical Coordinator must possess, at a minimum the following:

Ø Credential Cardiac Sonographer. RDCS or RCS

Ø Equivalent of two years’ full time professional experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.

Ø Possess proficiency in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, evaluation and counseling of students.

Ø Minimum of 3-5 year of experience as an instructor/mentor in a diagnostic medical or cardiac sonography setting as applicable.

Ø Minimum of Associate’s level degree. Bachelors preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ø Strong organizational skills.

Ø Possess the Certification in Cardiac Sonography.

Ø Must possess professional license or registry in specialty modality. RDCS or RCS

Ø Proficiency in Word and Outlook.

Job Types: FULL TIME, 40 hours per week

Schedule/Work location and Environment:

Campus as well as 50-75% travel to various clinical sites. Requires performing continuous site visits every semester within a 100-mile radius of the campus.
