• $7,500 Sign-on Bonus

• Participates in performance review feedback for sonographers

The Barnes-Jewish Hospital Cardiac Diagnostic Lab provides non-invasive diagnostic services to inpatient and outpatient populations in conjunction with our partners, Washington University Physicians. The department provides the following services to our patients: Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE), Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Stress Echocardiograms, Nuclear Stress Tests, Treadmill Exercise Stress Tests, Event and Holter Monitors and EKG Processing.

Role Purpose

The Sonographer, Cardiac Tech - Lead functions as lead and resource for other sonographers in the department. Participates in hiring process and training of new sonographers, contributes technical feedback for sonographer performance evaluations, and maintains RDCS credentialing requirements of all sonographers. Serves as technical director for Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) department accreditation, and facilitates/maintains accreditation standards and process. Testing modalities will include transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress transthoracic echocardiograph.
