Job Description:

Responsible for the processing of laboratory specimens and reporting of results in all areas of the clinical laboratory. Maintains laboratory records, follows laboratory policies and procedures; maintains quality control practices in the Laboratory. In addition this position has responsibility for CAP, procedures and it content, maintaining supplies, training and competency testing in your specialty area, computer checks and verifications as appropriate.

Qualifications

• State Licensure as a Medical Technologist or General Supervisor
• BLS certification
• Basic computer knowledge
• Operates the following equipment correctly and safely: photometer, spectrograph, colorimeter, and microscope.
