Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Administrative Assistant for the Radiology Urgent Care Unit at Morristown Health Pavilion in Rockaway.

• Qualified candidate will manage phones.
• Process patient requisitions.
• Coordinate patient flow.
• Monitor status of patients waiting for completion of procedures.
• Communicate with sections within department.
• Act as an assistant to attending physicians.
• Operate radiology information system (RIS) Hospital information systems.
• Perform other administrative functions.
• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills a must
• Computer proficiency preferred
• EPIC experience preferred

Minimum Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required

Relevant Experience:

• 1 year experience as Office Assistant/Receptionist (preferably healthcare environment) preferred
