Position Summary

This position performs a variety of ultrasound imaging procedures to provide data for diagnosis and monitoring of disease and injuries in accordance with all applicable standards, regulations, and licensing requirements. Requires competency in a variety of equipment and technology. Performs duties in a range of acute care pediatric-centered settings.

Education

• Graduate of an ultrasound program (Required)

Experience

• Completion of an ultrasound clinical rotation through an ultrasound program (Required)
• Pediatric experience (Preferred)

Certifications

• ARDMS registered in at least one of the following:
  
• OB/GYN
  
• Abdomen
  
• Neuro
  
• Vascular
  
• Pediatrics
  
• Musculoskeletal
  Vascular registry required within 12 months of hire (RVT preferred).
  (Required)
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association (Required)

Special Skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, both within the department and within the organization, to provide the best family centered care through effective communication and operational efficiency. (Required)
