Radiology Technologist I - Radiology - FT/Days

SUMMARY: Competently performs a variety of standard, specialty and complex diagnostic radiographic procedures with clinical and technical accuracy. Responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment) to achieve good quality studies under a variety of conditions with little or no supervision. Demonstrates sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation physics and image production. Demonstrates appropriate use of ALARA - minimal technique parameters, collimation and correctly positions patients. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a High School Diploma/GED AND a graduate of a formal program in Radiologic Technology OR a College Degree - 2 year in Radiology. College Degree - 4 year preferred. BLS - Basic Life Support required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position. CRT - CA Radiologic Technologist License and RT-R - ARRT Reg Tech Radiography required. RHF - Rad Tech/Fluoroscopy License required within six (6) months of hire or transfer into position. A minimum of six (6) months of experience in Diagnostic Radiology is preferred. Pediatric experience and bilingual skills preferred.

POSITION DETAILS: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, Day shift - Weekends and holidays required.

PAY RANGE: $32.00 - $50.75
