Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN Rotating Position Summary

Performs all technical, diagnostic and therapeutic services offered by the Nuclear Medicine Department of Imaging Services. Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

THE NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECH PRN ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education/Other Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved program of Nuclear Medicine.
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
Must be certified by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association in Nuclear Medicine.
If registry eligible, the position requires the incumbent to be scheduled for and pass the next available exam.
This position requires communication with patients, physicians, co-workers and the public.
Independent decision making skills as to how to provide optimally diagnostic studies.
Must have current BLS certification

None
