Job description:

Provides direct patient care in the lab as well as other area of the Imaging department. Communicates continuously with the physician about patient condition.  Assists physician during invasive and noninvasive procedures. Operates all equipment safely and correctly. Performs imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Understands Cardiac hemodynamic. Participates in the performance improvement and continuous quality (CQI) improvement activities of the Cardiovascular Lab.

Qualifications

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Certified in cardiovascular technology (CVT) preferred.
• Minimum of one year Angiography Lab work experience.
• Current BCLS certifications.
• Willing to be on call / standby for the cardiovascular department areas as needed.
