Clinical expertise in the high-level practice of diagnostic neuroradiology is essential. The ideal candidate will have a track record for academic productivity and desire for professional advancement. The Division of Neuroradiology is currently staffed by 16 faculty who provide subspecialized diagnostic inpatient and outpatient clinical service across Emory Healthcare sites, Grady Memorial Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. In addition to providing advanced neuroradiology clinical services for a broad-spectrum of disorders, responsibilities include the training of fellows, residents, and medical students as well as participation in interdisciplinary conferences. State-of-the-art clinical equipment are present across the enterprise. Extensive research facilities including dedicated research magnets are available. In addition, there are strong intra- and interdepartmental clinical and research collaborations already in place. An exceptional neuroradiology fellowship offers nine one-year positions per year and there are more than 60 radiology residents. The department has a strong commitment to faculty development and academic advancement. Atlanta is a highly desirable, growing metropolitan area with many attractions and a favorable climate. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be ABR Board-certified/eligible, subspecialty certified or eligible, completed a Neuroradiology fellowship at an accredited program, and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments.
