Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking a BC/BE Infectious Disease Physician to continue building our rapidly expanding Infectious Disease care program in the Central Texas region of Temple and Killeen, TX. We offer a mix of inpatient and outpatient services, which encompasses all aspects of clinical Infectious Disease.

Requirements:

• Fellowship trained, board certified or board eligible Infectious Disease Physician
• Inpatient and Outpatient clinical practice
• Join a team of 6 physicians and 1 mid-level provider
• Work with like-minded professionals in a fully integrated health system
• Epic EMR
• Academic affiliation with Texas A&M College of Medicine 
• Infectious disease fellowship program with 2 fellows per year

About AdventHealth Central Texas

Through various contracts with AdventHealth, Baylor Scott and White Health provides hospitalist, anesthesiologist, physician, nurse practitioner, and CRNA support to name a few, to help with their staffing needs. In addition, five Baylor Scott and White Health clinics including three care clinics, a specialty clinic, and McLane Children’s Scott and White Clinic – Killeen provide physician services to patients in the Killeen community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
