The Radiologic Technologist in Interventional functions independently as a member of the Interventional Radiology and Neuro Endovascular Radiology teams. Team members include registered nurses, IR Radiologic technologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, interventional radiology fellows and residents, neurosurgery fellows and residents. In addition to performing procedures, this position acts as the principal radiologic technologist overseeing the technical operations required for the performance of routine and advanced procedures. Duties for this Interventional Radiologic Technologist include but are not limited to: circulating and scrubbing roles during procedures, patient teaching, assisting with patient care within scope of practice, inventory management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Associate's degree or equivalent knowledge with ARRT registry 

Three months to 1-year effective experience in Vascular and Interventional techniques necessary 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*: 

Able to stand constantly; walk and sit occasionally 

Able to lift/carry 0-10 frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally 

Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally 

Able to reach constantly 

Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping
