CHOA and Emory University also offer ACGME accredited pediatric radiology and neuroradiology fellowships to eligible candidates. CHOA is one of the largest pediatric healthcare systems in the United States, with 650 beds across the system, and one of the leading children's hospitals in the nation. It is comprised of 3 free-standing children's hospitals in metro Atlanta; Egleston located next to Emory University Hospital, Scottish Rite located to the north of the city, and Hughes Spalding located across the street from Grady Memorial Hospital. There are 2 outpatient imaging facilities in nearby suburbs. Our state-of-the-art equipment includes 8 MRI scanners, 5 CT scanners and 1 PET-CT scanner. An intraoperative 3T MRI scanner is located at Scottish Rite. The new 446-bed Arthur M. Blank Children's Hospital is currently under construction, slated to open in 2024.
