All within a 'living laboratory' of groundbreaking, research-driven clinical solutions that integrate mind, body and spirit in the defeat of illness and disease The role you’ll contribute: The Cardiovascular Invasive Laboratory Specialist Supervisor, performs, at a technical level, a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. Supervises staff and department activities that provide service to all patients. Responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness and utilization of the procedural area, staff and equipment. Maintains a smooth and cost effective patient flow. Serves as administrative liaison to patients and physicians. Accountable for tracking patient charges and maintaining various records of documentation. Responsible for oversight of inventory management and supplies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Plans, develops, and coordinates department activities in the most effective way. Supports and enforces policy and procedure. Ensures safety of self, staff, physicians and patients. Manages time and equipment effectively and works as a team member to provide the best possible care to the patient. Receives assignments, instructions, and guidance from Manager or Director and is compliant with special requests as situations dictate. Practices the principles of universal body substance isolation and enforces safety regulations according to hospital policies on a continual basis. Continually deliver quality diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional patient care services. Practices and enforces safety guidelines. Performs Quality Control as needed. Supports and assists with data collection for process improvement while understanding the department performance trends and established standards.
