Position Summary:
he Registered Nurse-PHI Cath Lab provides clinical nursing care to assigned patients, performing related assessments, procedures and treatments, evaluations, patient care plan development/revisions, and education to patient and/or family. The RN puts the patient first and ensures that high quality care is given to assigned patients by following policies, clinical guidelines, safety systems such as medication scanning and bed alarm use, timely and accurate documentation, core measure compliance and serving as a patient advocate. The RN makes providing an exceptional patient/family experience high priority. The Pulse Heart Institute Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients undergoing Interventional Radiology/Neurology and EP procedures. PHI Cath Lab nurses who have a prior critical care certification are expected to maintain it. If not certified, they are encouraged to obtain RCIS, RCES, CEN, or CCRN as relevant to nursing practice.

Minimum Requirements:
3 years of critical care experience in ICU/CCU or ED or 1-year prior Cath Lab experience

Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, or obtained within three years from the initial date of hire. Employees may be grandfathered if hired in or prior to January 2021
Advanced Degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred
RN licensure issued by Washington State to practice professional nursing
Critical care certification or RCIS, RCES, CEN, or CCRN as relevant to nursing practice encouraged.
CPR and ACLS required at time of hire
Valid driver’s license
