About this job

The Department of Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital offers expert colonoscopy and endoscopy services to pinpoint the cause of your symptoms. These procedures are highly valuable in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract problems.

Under general supervision of the Clinical Coordinator, assists during procedures and provides general support to the department, such as cleaning between procedures, setting up equipment, performing transportation and other miscellaneous duties. Provides services to patients of all ages.

Scheduled Hours

40 hours, Days. Every other weekend and holiday requirement

Education

High School graduate or equivalent.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required

American Heart Association (BLS) Certification

Knowledge and Skills

Minimum of six months hospital experience or related experience preferred. Fluency in speaking and reading English required. Frequent lifting, pushing, and moving of equipment and supplies weighing 20-30 pounds. Also lifting and moving of patients in difficult positions.
